A grey clay that has a gritty texture due to coarse grog added for strength and durabilty useful hand building.  
 
Great for sculpture, can be thrown on the wheel but it is coarse and will not hold liquids well even when glazed. Not for beginners on the wheel
 
The only clay to use for Raku firing
