Book EPS Studio Time - Pay as you go

Service Description

The Edinburgh Pottery Studio is now offering access to the studio for non-members to use wheels, tables, materials and tools in 3 hour bookable slots. Studio time is open for pottery enthusiasts who already know what they are doing with clay and how to work in a shared studio. This session includes making, bisque firing and glaze firing for up to 3 pieces per session. For anymore work over the over allotted 3 pieces of work per session, please purchase the glazing service - 1 piece £10 or pay in person on the day 1. Hours are subject to Yvette's availability 2. Clay should be purchased from The EPS unless otherwise discussed 3. This service excludes professional potters 4. Please bring your own 10 litre buckets, 2 litre tubs, large sponge and towels and take. them home after each session unless a space to keep them becomes available 6. You have access to a fridge, kettle and mugs etc 7. You must know how to work in a studio but an induction will be given 15 minutes before your first session 8. Glazing is included up to 3 pieces per session and brief instruction will be given on that 9. Studio use is restricted to the downstairs studio 10. Yvette is not available for tuition or advice during these sessions unless it is logistical (I will be working upstairs or with students) 11. Work cannot be brought in from home or another institution - this is not a firing service - It is for studio time to practice and keep a max of 3 items per session 12. Clean up is part of your 3 hour session so please make sure to be completely done at the end of your session. There is a £10 charge for any time over your 3 hour slot. 13. Please allow 3-4 weeks between sessions if you want to do some glazing on your next booking The full balance must be paid within a week of approval of your booking and BEFORE your session or your booking will be cancelled. If you intend to pay cash, please get in touch to let me know as soon as your booking has been approved.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule a class or course, please phone or text a week in advance to give me a chance to fill your space and offer it to lower income students. Refunds are only given 14 days prior to the start of your course. See course details for further information. Please check Junk mail for communications and make sure to get in touch about 1:1, 2:1 private lessons about payment and confirmation of lessons if nothing is received a week before your appointment. No payment, no communication from you means no appointment.
