Couples/Two People Hand Building Lesson

Service Description

Private lesson for Couples, friends and family (adults or an adult and child 13 years+) Choose between sculpture and hand building for two to one lessons with an established ceramic artist with university credentials and 18 years of teaching. Hand building allows for more creativity, addition of decoration and a completed work with a handle or spout, if you desire. I know you will come away understanding clay better and with one bespoke piece that you love. Book as many lessons as suit your schedule. These lessons are for non-professionals. Please enquire about professional prices Decorating and /or glazing are a lesson in themselves, so remember to book time to learn about glazing, trimming, slips and oxide techniques and to glaze your work. Two of the pieces you make in class will be trimmed, glazed and fired for you. For any others made, it is £10 per piece and anything above 2lbs will count as two pieces. IN THE INTEREST OF COVID SAFETY AND CLEANLINESS, PLEASE BRING: an apron and a small towel The full balance must be paid within a week of approval of your booking or your booking will be cancelled. If you intend to pay cash, please get in touch to let me know as soon as your booking has been approved. Rebooking allowed once with 24 hours notice.  Once booked for a lesson, you may reschedule once.  A missed appointment without at least 24 hour notice will result in a forfeit of your lesson. Any lesson rescheduled, is subject to the price at the time of rebooking and must occur within a 1 month window of the original booking or the expiration of your voucher (whichever is longest).

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule a class or course, please phone or text a week in advance to give me a chance to fill your space and offer it to lower income students. Refunds are only given 14 days prior to the start of your course. See course details for further information. Please check Junk mail for communications and make sure to get in touch about 1:1, 2:1 private lessons about payment and confirmation of lessons if nothing is received a week before your appointment. No payment, no communication from you means no appointment.
