Service Description

A great idea for those who want to sample wheel throwing and hand building pottery in one day In an intimate group of 12 people, split into two groups of 6 with two tutors, you will learn the basics of Wheel Throwing and Hand Building in one day, over four hours. COURSE PACKAGE: 5 lbs of clay is provided per student WHEEL THROWING SECTION: 6 students for 2 hours including Wheel Throwing Demonstration and your opportunity to try your hand at the Wheel. A maximum of two pieces per session, per person will be trimmed and glazed. Any extra - £10 each, if size is 5x5 inches. Any larger is to be discussed LUNCH BREAK: Please bring something to eat. Tea and Coffee are provided. We will break for half an hour and then the groups will swap skills HAND BUILDING SESSION: 6 students for 2 hours of Hand Building.
