A Weekend workshop course for students who want to learn how to make a plaster mould to be used for slip casting or moulding with slabs, coils or loose pinch pots. Classes taught with the careful, hands-on instruction and advice of a university trained and 20 year experienced Becca. You will learn a short history of mould making, how to create your mould as well as how to use it once it has finished curing. Join us for this rare opportunity to make your own mould from plaster with Becca. Becca has over 20 years' experience in mould making and a BA in sculpture and ceramics form Michigan State Uni. After this period, all tuition fees are non-refundable If you cannot complete a short course because of illness, you will be able to donate your remaining lessons to local folk in Craigmillar community or pass them on to a friend.
