Service Description

Choose between sculpture, hand building or wheel throwing for one to one lessons with an established ceramic artist with university credentials and 20 years of teaching. I know you will come away understanding clay better and with something that you like. Book as many lessons as suit your schedule. Decorating and /or glazing are a lesson in themselves, so remember to book time to learn about glazing, trimming, slips and oxide techniques and to glaze your work. Two of the pieces you make in class will be trimmed, glazed and fired for you. For any others, there is a glazing service that you can purchase online that, trims, fires and glazes your pieces for you - £12 for 2 pieces IN THE INTEREST OF COVID SAFETY, PLEASE BRING: an apron, small towel or cloth and a large yoghurt tub The full balance must be paid within a week of approval of your booking or your booking will be cancelled. If you intend to pay cash, please get in touch to let me know as soon as your booking has been approved.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule a class or course, please phone or text a week in advance t o give me a chance to fill your space and offer it to lower income students. Please note that refunds are only given 14 days prior to the start of your course. See course details for further information by
